Iced Latte Protein Shake
One of my favorite (and most consistent) ways to stave off that mid-afternoon slump is by making an iced coffee protein shake.
I’m always struggling to meet my protein macros, so incorporating protein powder is a life-saver. Protein is great at helping us feel full (avoid pre-dinner snacking), caffeine gives a much-needed energy boost, and I like to add a little bit of cinnamon to help regulate blood sugar.
This easy, creamy, and nourishing shake is the perfect way to boost your afternoon productivity, energy, and mood!
-1 cup ice (or iced coffee cubes)
-1 cup iced coffee
-1/4 cup dairy or dairy alternative
-1 scoop (1/3 cup) vanilla protein powder
-1 tsp cinnamon
In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend on high for 1 full minute until the shake is extremely creamy and increased in volume. Simply pour and enjoy!
